This full body portraiture encapsulates a young woman glowing with life. The focal point of this piece is her shirt which imbues contrast using blue and red. The shirt’s print design is a tribute to the infamous band “The Grateful Dead” by displaying their iconic “Jerry Bears” dancing together under the bands birth year 1965. This piece was created during quarantine in 2020. It was my senior year of high school. During my junior year I developed an appreciation for the band, its members, and their place in music history. The impact they had on my life and creativity speaks for itself in the artwork I created during that time in my life.
