Watercolor Paint + Fountain Pen Watercolor Paper
Flower Garden was a water color study. The reference used was a photo from an old "Arizona Highways" magazine. I acquired close to 30 of those magazines dating as old as 1960 from a huge dumpster that was in front of my next door neighbors house. The house I grew up in from 6 to 17 had a sweet old lady residing next door. Unfortunately she had past when I was about 16 and that huge dumpster was brought in by her descendants to dispose of most of her belongings. Seeing as they were throwing the magazines away, I saw no harm in taking them and making use of them.
Special thanks to that sweet old lady for being kind to me in every interaction we had and for sharing her appreciation for nature whenever I browse through or use those magazines as reference. <3
Special thanks to Quinn for giving this piece a home and for continuously supporting my creative expression.
Prints are available upon request in various sizes.
